I sure hope all of you have had a good Easter. I was able to watch some of conference with Larry and it was wonderful to hear from our leaders. I love the strength I get each time conference rolls around. I am so grateful for this time of year and the rebirth of flowers and trees as they bud and blossom. It is so beautiful outside.
Larry has been pretty stable today. He continues with the fever but he was awake and more like himself for part of the day. He has been unable to eat and take his meds (orally) though, so they will start him on a feeding tube tomorrow. They are waiting for another 24 hours to determine if the drain in his brain needs to be replaced. They are also waiting for the results of some of the cultures to come back to rule out other infections. It really is a waiting game until tomorrow or maybe even the next day before decisions can be made in some of his circumstances.
I am so grateful for our Savior and for His atoning sacrÃfice in our behalf. I am grateful for His willingness to suffer all things so that he can succor us and lighten our burdens. I feel him lightening our load at this time and have faith in his plan for each one of us.
I am also very grateful for our children and grandchildren. Spending some time with them this evening was a joy for me. I couldn´t do this without them. They are my strength.
